Cities can be frightened places. The majority of the population live in noisy massive tower blocks. __1__

3.把Strange改為Strangely。Strangely enough，是固定短語，經常用作插入語，意思是“說也奇怪，最奇怪的是”。

4.在say前面加上don’t。此處說的是，現(xiàn)在住在同一層樓的人甚至見面都不打招呼。

5.把keep改為keeps。in that 引導的句子主語應該是 a sense，故謂語應為單數(shù)。本句的意思是，農村生活與這種隔絕孤立的生活不同，因為一種歸屬感把小村里的居民聯(lián)系在一起。

6.把so 改為but/yet。上文提到了鄉(xiāng)村生活的好處，下文是轉折，要用but或者yet。

7.把for改為on?！叭ミh征”應該用go on a expedition，而go for 的意思是“去找，努力獲取，擁護”。

8.把peaceful改為peace。of 后面不應該用形容詞，所以應該改為peace。這里需要注意的是quiet既是名詞又是形容詞，不要被迷惑。

9.把their改為its。此處的代詞應該指代上文的 the city。

10.刪除leaving后面的for，或者把for改為from。leave表示“離開某地”，而leave for表示“離開某地去另外一個地方”，for后面接的是目的地。本句說的是離開城市，搬到鄉(xiāng)村，所以for是多余的。
