One of our main arguments is that we in Western countries actually have part to play in causing the __1__

The peanuts were exported to Great Britain and the United States to feed our cattle.Those cattle then produced

a surplus of milk which we do not know what to do with.We have enough milk, more milk than we can cope

with in the Western World.And also that milk was transformed into dried milk powder and then taken back to this country __8__

to help feed children who were suffering from malnutrition. So that’s the kind of insanely economic relationship__9__

that we have got ourselves in the Third World. __10__

答案：

1.在part前加上a。詞組have a part to play in…的意思是“有份兒”

2.saddle改為saddled。此處為被動語態(tài)，應該把動詞變?yōu)檫^去分詞形式。

3.把with改為at。此處介詞與interest rates搭配。

4.刪除been(這里應該是把risen改為rising，答案應該錯了)。rise是不及物動詞，不用于被動語態(tài)。

5.把letting改為let。let alone 意思為“更不用提”。

6.把imported改為exported。下文說花生可以帶來外匯收益，出口才會帶來外匯，所以此處應用exported。

7.把have改為had。上文提到該國禁止本國消費花生這件事用的是過去時。

8.把also改為so。必須把與此相關的幾個句子聯(lián)系在一起理解，上文說：花生出口到英國和美國去喂了牛，而牛又產出了過剩的牛奶，我們不知道怎么處理這些牛奶。在西方世界，我們的牛奶夠多了，多得無法處理。本句說：這些牛奶就被制成奶粉拿到該國去喂養(yǎng)那些營養(yǎng)不良的兒童。由此可見本句與上文是因果關系，不能用also來連接。

9.insanely改為insane。此處表達“荒唐的經濟關系”insane修飾的是relationship，而非economic，因此要用形容詞代替。

10.把in改為into。詞組get in 雖然也可以表達“ 進入，陷入”，但是in為副詞，后面不能跟地點，所以應該改為into
